Ha! I bet that grabbed your attention but this is not the kind of new member you might be thinking of. Heehee, we got a cat awhile ago. Yup, we really did and his name is Jonah and he is just perfect for our family.
We picked him out at the animal shelter and after holding many cats and spending lots of time agonizing over which one we should get, we found Jonah. (They had named him Joe -- we renamed him) We don't know how old he is exactly but as you can tell, he is full grown.
He is very playful and one of the ways that I knew he was the one for us is that when we were walking by all the cages, he reached through his bars and playfully batted at Aubrie's hair. We knew he was just right for us because he is great with kids and tolerates a lot of holding and hauling around by Aubrie and even some fur pulling by Kayley when we don't get there fast enough to stop her. Both girls are learning to be nice to him, however and take good care of him. He is so much fun!
Some of you may not like cats out there and I understand that, but this little guy has grabbed our hearts and we're happy to have him! :)
