Perspective

We may not know where we should live in the next month or so, but our kids are still cute.

We may have an impossible amount of stuff to do in the next three weeks, but we still have each other.

We may have lots of uncertainty in our lives right now, but most importantly, we know Jesus.

We may have to pack up and leave a home we love, but we are paying down debt.

We may have to endure a time of adjustment with our kids, but home schooling is the perfect type of education for a family that is moving.

We may have been on a roller coaster and had plans that change almost daily, but we have a God who never changes and who is our Rock.

We may be incredibly frustrated that plans keep falling through, but we have learned not to rely on ourselves or man, but only on God whose plans never fail.

We may have no clue what our living situation will look like a few months from now, but we know we will still have little cheeks to kiss, munchkins that make us laugh on a daily basis, food on the table, warm beds to sleep in, a roof over our heads, friends and family who care about us, and we will know that God brought us where He wanted us in His time.

And we are thankful!

Update: Everything has come together for the buyers of our home and things are moving right along now. Our closing date was pushed back until November 23 which is fine with me because it gives us some more time to get ready to move and figure out what we should do.

However, right when things started to look like they would work out for us to move into the mortgage free house I've mentioned before, everything fell to pieces for our friends that are still living in it (again!) and now we are back to square one. They are still needing to sell the home that they own and we are to a point of extreme frustration because every time their situation changes, so does ours.

We aren't quite sure what we should do at this point. There are a few options out there but please be praying that we do the right thing for our family.

I am also scheduled to have a scan test done early tomorrow morning to take a closer look at my gall bladder. If it's been my gall bladder giving me trouble all along, this should show that! I'm a little nervous -- your prayers are appreciated. Thanks!
