Thanks so much to everyone who has left encouraging comments, sent e-mails, and sent uplifting facebook messages to us during this stressful time in our lives. You guys are great!

We are literally taking things day by day. It seems like something is always up in the air and that we have no idea what is going on. However, we are seeing God's faithfulness more than ever and are confident that He is working.


Sam checked out a house that we thought we might be able to rent short term while we wait for the mortgage free house to open up but that was a big disappointment. It was a dump and not even worth considering.


But, then we met with our friends later that evening and all hope is not lost. We have the mortgage free house guaranteed to us by the owner for at least two years. And our friends kindly offered to let us start moving things into the house early and maybe even share the home with them until they move out. At least we would have our own bedrooms downstairs and some privacy if that is what it comes to. Our friends are working to resolve issues with the buyer of a different house that they own and when that is accomplished, they will move out. We don't know how long this will take and that is what makes it hard.

So, it may be crowded and interesting for a short time but at least we do have a place to go. We are thankful for that!


I'm trying not to fret too much and to take the packing a little at a time.

Oh and just for fun, we are sort of in the middle of a situation ourselves with the buyers of our home. They were pre-approved, no problem and then were suddenly told they had to put 20% down to buy our place. What is with the banks doing this to people now?! Anyway, our realtor does not appear too concerned and says they are working to get the money somehow (either from their in-laws or in cashing out investments) but this could potentially slow things down for us. Or stop them all together.


Who knows?? Might as well have one more uncertainty in our lives, right?!

We are moving along, though. The inspector is still coming tomorrow. I still have to take care of kids, wipe bottoms, cook food, and be a mom. Life continues to move on, even in the midst of uncertainty.


And on a side note, I LOVE my very part time job at the church so far. The work is the type I love. Just me and the computer and quiet. Sam has been great putting the munchkins to bed for two evenings a week and I love him for that.
