Nine Years

June 8 was a special day in our house because Sam and I celebrated nine years of marriage! Some good friends of ours offered to watch our kids for us on Monday so we could have an evening out together and so we took them up on it! A co-worker of Sam's had given us a gift card for a steakhouse in town and so we started out by having dinner there. It was delicious! Haddie came along with us and she was very well behaved at the restaurant. Next, we went downtown and played mini-golf and hit some balls in the batting cages. It was a lot of fun and Haddie slept through it all.

Then, yesterday, Sam surprised me with nine beautiful white roses to celebrate our nine years together. We then had lunch out together as a family and that was fun too. What a great day and what a blessing to have had nine wonderful years so far with Sam. I am so glad God brought us together all those years ago!
